Our Story
“Every woman in the room deserves equal time, equal weight, and a seat at the table she actually built.”
We’ve seen what happens when women are left out
Nikki Savage, CFP® has spent 15 years inside the financial services industry. She’s sat in the boardrooms. She’s worked in the offices. She’s watched what happens when women — clients and colleagues alike — are talked over, second-guessed, and quietly managed out of their own conversations.
She’s been there herself. Despite carrying the best client retention and satisfaction scores in her office, she was once pulled aside by a superior and told she needed to smile more and tell more jokes. That she came across as too intense.
Too intense. With the best numbers in the room.
Nikki has lived more than the industry could throw at her. She is a survivor and a fighter, and she has never once been willing to settle for mediocrity in her own life — or in the care she delivers to her clients.

Three Gaps. One decision.
The longer Nikki worked inside institutional firms, the more clearly she saw women who were being failed — consistently, and often at the moments they needed help the most.

Women in transition
Divorce. Widowhood. Career pivots. Late-life financial reorganization. These transitions are complicated enough on their own. What Nikki kept watching was women entering them financially disoriented — often because a spouse had handled the finances, or because no one had ever taken the time to bring them fully into their own financial picture.
Predatory behavior at moments of grief and vulnerability isn’t rare in this industry. Nikki saw it. She wasn’t willing to keep watching it happen.
Women professionals & Executives
Some of our clients have spent years building careers that came with real financial complexity — equity compensation, variable income, competing priorities, not enough hours in the day. What they often didn’t have was an advisor who could keep up.
Not someone to hand things off to. A partner. Someone who asks the right questions, gives straight answers, and treats your financial life with the same seriousness you do.
You’ve worked hard to get where you are. Your financial plan should reflect that.
content creators
If you earn from content — YouTube, OnlyFans, Patreon, brand deals, affiliate revenue — you already know the financial system wasn’t built for you. Denied bank accounts, dropped payment processors, advisors who can’t hide their judgment. The door closes fast.
But the challenges are real. Irregular income. Self-employment taxes. Retirement accounts nobody told you about. A business that can change overnight if a platform shifts its rules.
The how of your income doesn’t matter here. Building something stable and smart does. This is a judgment-free office. Full stop.

So she built something different…
Nikki didn’t leave institutional financial services because she ran out of options. She left because she ran out of patience for a system that kept getting in the way of doing the right thing for clients.
She watched firm budgets flow toward golf outings and client dinners without question. She watched proposals to build meaningful programming for women clients go back for ROI justification — again and again — while male-centric events moved forward without a second thought. She kept seeing the work she wanted to do get subordinated to the work that made the institution comfortable.
At some point, building your own table stops being an option and starts being the only answer.
In 2026, she founded Wild Iris Financial — a fee-only, fiduciary financial planning firm built specifically to serve women navigating complexity. No product shelf. No quota. No pressure to recommend anything that wasn’t in the client’s best interest. Just honest, strategic financial guidance and a room where every woman’s voice carries equal weight.
You belong here if…
Intentional by design
Growth here is deliberate. Every client relationship stays high-touch, personal, and deeply engaged. We don’t take on more clients than we can serve well, because serving clients well is the entire point.
As a client of Wild Iris Financial, you will never feel like a number. You will know your advisor. Your advisor will know you — your goals, your concerns, your life, and your definition of financial success.
That’s our commitment.
